Derek T. Muller
Derek T. Muller is an associate professor of law at Pepperdine University School of Law. His research and writing focus on election law, particularly federalism and the role of states in the administration of elections. His work has appeared in the Arizona Law Review, the Indiana Law Journal, the Arizona State Law Journal, the Florida State University Law Review, the Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy, the Fordham Law Review, and the peer-reviewed Election Law Journal. His opinion pieces have been published in the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times. He has taught election law, civil procedure, complex litigation, administrative law, federal courts, and evidence. He blogs about election law and legal education at Excess of Democracy.
