Zoltan Boka

Tour for Tolerance

Zoltan Boka is a disabled Hungarian immigrant and American citizen. Boka was born in Budapest, Hungary, where he survived a childhood bout with hydrocephalus, a form of traumatic brain injury. Having previously worked at CUNY and the New York City Council, he then became the deputy executive director of Tour for Tolerance, which is engaged in Ukrainian relief efforts, the transfer of humanitarian relief supplies, and organization of a medical team to help refugees as they enter the United States.
