Mari Matsuda is an OG critical race theorist, having participated in the Third World Coalition to Diversify Harvard Law School in 1983. She has written numerous law review articles considered foundational to critical race theory. Her books include: We Won’t Go Back, Making the Case For Affirmative Action; Words That Wound; and Where Is Your Body. She is a writer and artist who believes we are standing on a razor’s edge between the abyss of fascism and the promise of a healthy planet built on a foundation of justice.
